Choosing a Dreame robot vacuum
Our robot vacuum range runs from $499 to $3,499. Every model vacuums and mops — the differences sit in four places: how much suction it delivers, what kind of mop it uses, how much the dock handles on its own, and how well the robot moves around your home.
Suction
Three tiers. The Matrix10 Ultra and every Aqua10 model deliver 30,000Pa. The X50 Ultra and L50 Ultra sit at 20,000Pa. The L30 Ultra S and D20 Pro Plus deliver 13,000Pa Vormax™ suction. Suction matters most on carpet and with pet hair; on hard floors, mop type makes more difference than raw figures.
Mop type
The clearest difference in the range, and the one worth deciding first. Roller mops — on the Aqua10 Roller and Aqua10 Ultra Roller — clean themselves continuously as they work, with a mop guard that keeps carpet dry. The Aqua10 Ultra Track S uses a track mop that washes onboard at 45°C. The Matrix10 Ultra switches automatically between three sets of mop pads, which suits homes with several floor types. The L30 Ultra S extends its pad to reach edges and skirting.
What the dock does
Three levels. The Matrix10 Ultra and every Aqua10 model wash their mops at 100°C in the dock and dry them with warm air. The L50 Ultra washes at 75°C. The L30 Ultra S and D20 Pro Plus empty dust automatically but don't wash mops — the D20 holds up to 150 days of dust.
Getting around your home
Thresholds, rugs and low furniture decide more than people expect. The Matrix10 Ultra and Aqua10 Ultra Roller climb 8cm obstacles with ProLeap™; the Aqua10 Roller and Track S climb 6cm. The X50 Ultra uses retractable legs for ledges. The X60 Ultra stands 79.5mm tall, for homes with low sofas and cabinetry. VersaLift™ navigation on the Track S and X50 Ultra retracts the sensor so the robot fits where it otherwise couldn't.
